Day 2..... almost didnt make it in time

so here we are at day 2 as a single dad. Rachel and I are alot alike in our sleep. we hate mornings but can stay up all night. so mornings are.........interesting. she wasnt bad. Go to work and all sorts of fun comes at me. Since it isnt good practice to have a car seat in the work van , I have to go back to shop to switch vehicles before picking up Rachel. it s Only a 20 min drive on a good day, like Sunday at 2:00am in the morning. So I get back to shop and in my car at 5:15. Traffic is bad.Have to get Rachel by 6 or pay. well I made it to find one little girl still in the playground.

When we got home I taught Rachel how to properly seed the yard.

Rachel and Tyke needed a good running. So thats what they got.

time out for a sec. I am working on this blog and hear something in Rachel's room. I go in there to see whats going on. she is standing on the bed and drawing on the wall with her fingers. I say RACHEL. she drops down and acts like she is asleep. little stinker.

Single Dad for the week

Ok so heres whats going on. Lizzie is out of town at a training seminar teaching thingy ma jig. So I Wes Parsons am a single dad for the week. My lovely wife cooked dinner for my week while I was having a fun weekend with the boys down at the beach. I will attempt to blog the week. So far Rachel is good and not too fussy. This will change and thus the tone of these blogs will change as well. Here is a pic of the stocked fridge.

She even put all of Rachels clothes out for the week. Yes Rachels undies have the day on them. Lizzie knows I cant dress Rachel with 18000 variations of pink. Thanks babe.

After school Rachel and I played outside. being that I dont normally get home early I pulled out the camera. I took a few good pictures of Rachel running towards me. Well you can guess what happened next.

Where did February and half of March go?

Wes, here. I'm taking over the blog. Here are a few pictures over the last couple of weeks.

She wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and a bone candle. Not sure where she got that idea but party city was fresh out of bone candles. I will have to try to make something work.

My sister bought me a set of train horns for my car. Yes TRAIN horns. an air compressor, air tank, and 3 beautiful chrome train horns. I love them, I really do. Lizzie has disowned my family for empowering my dream of being the ultimate redneck. HaHa. thanks Kimmie
