Rachel wouldn't wake up for the picture

Three Generations

Sacked out on daddy!

Today we celebrated Easter with family and friends. Rachel got all dressed up to go to church. After Church we went to my mom's for some hamburgers and hotdogs! Yummy! We had a great time seeing aunts, uncles, and cousins. Happy Easter!

Grammy's Birthday

Welcome to the party room

Mom has no idea what's in the box

She has plenty of help opening her gifts

Priceless!

Yippee!

Saturday, we celebrated Grammy's birthday. I'll be kind and not tell you how old she is. My sister Jackie and her two kids, Caroline and Ryan where here to help celebrate. We missed having my other sister Carol and her two girls, Catherine and Sophia. We had a big birthday meal (Pepper Steak and mac and cheese...very good but interesting combo). My sisters and I all pitched in to give my mom a great birthday gift. We have started her a new collection of dishes. As I was talking to mom, we realized that her current dishes where given to her by our dad. He bought them in Korea after they had been married for about four years. This year my parents would have been married 49 years so we did the math and her dishes are 45 years old. So... the family decided it was finally time for some new dishes. From the pictures, I'd say she loved them! Happy Birthday Grammy (aka. Mom)!

Hold your head up high

Rachel is really holding her head up pretty good these days. Her head is becoming more steady instead of being Miss Bobble Head.

Videos of Rachel

Rachel is getting used to the camera in her face ALL the time.

Rachel started holding things in her hand today. She can't hold them for long. I opened her hand and she just held on to the her brush. As I took the video I was hoping she wouldn't poke her eye out. Being a new mom, everything has the potential for danger...even a brush!

Wes and Rachel

Wes dressed Rachel in her "Made in Charlotte" shirt.

Did I mention Wes took Tyke with them. It gave Rachel a lot to look at. I'm sure she was happy she wasn't licked to death.

One big happy family!

Back after a long morning and still smiling.

On Saturday, Wes took care of Rachel while I went to run some errands. She woke him up around 8:00 and he feed and dressed her. Wes loves to yard sale so he bundled Rachel up in her car seat grabbed the diaper bag and headed of to yard sale. He and Rachel struck out, there weren't many good things for sale. He then took her to Auto Zone to get some things for his car. Every girls dream to go to Auto Zone on Saturday morning. I'm just glad it was her and not me hehe. When I got home they were just as happy as they could be! Rachel loves her dad and I think her dad loves her (just a little :).

Dead or Alive?

50 gallon fish tank

Dead or Alive? You tell me.

As some of you may know, Wes bought a 50 gallon fish tank at a yard sale over 4 years ago. We have had several different fish in it over the years but they eventually all die. About a year ago Wes decided to put some new fish in the tank. We bought a male and female fish so that they would multiply and an algae eater. I laughed and told Wes that the male and female fish could be our fertility fish. The day after we bought them we couldn't find the male fish. After a few days Wes looked behind the tank and saw the male fish of the floor behind the tank. We laughed and thought his lady friend was to much for him and he jumped out the back and committed fish suicide. The lone algae eater has been surviving on algae alone. Wes has not feed the fish in about a year and it still lived. Well, on Monday I noticed the fish didn't look so good. Wes seemed to think everything was ok. I don't know you tell me. After looking at the picture do you think everything seems ok? I'm pretty sure our fish is dead. Gross!

Cowboy boots

Rid'em cowgirl

Sign me up for line dancing classes or the rodeo!

Yee-Haw!

My friend Carrie sent Rachel her first pair of cowboy boots from the wild west. They really should be called cowgirl boots because they are pink. When I put them on Rachel she looked cute. Could we be raising the next country line dancing star?
