We had family over yesterday for Sunday lunch to help us wish Rachel a Happy Birthday. We had a big lunch (lasagna), cake, and then we opened presents. Thank you family for all your support this first year. It was really needed. We appreciate all of your help and guidance and we look forward to getting more of this for many years to come. :) Enjoy the slide show and videos.
Our friends the Carrons are in Germany now. They sent Rachel a farm toy that teaches in English (w/British accent) and German. Too Cool. Our girls will be so smart learning two languages this early. See if you can hear the German.
Rachel loves her rocking chair. She sat in it as we opened gifts. Every time a gift was open Rachel would say, "WOW." Just listen to her.

Love the new blog page! I am glad you guys received the talking farm in the mail in time for her birthday. I have really been able to practice my German with it!
