Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday, we went to church and then ate lunch with family. It was a wonderful day!

Spring Break

My sisters and their families were in town for Spring Break. We had a lot of fun playing, having Easter egg hunts, and climbing trees.

Rachel's Easter Parade

Rachel's school kicked off the Easter season with an Easter parade. The halls were filled with parents, grandparents, and cameras. Rachel's class theme was "Growing in God's Love." My little Rachel made a beautiful purple flower.

After the parade the class had an Easter party. It was nice to be a mommy and not a teacher on this day.

Alligator Adventure

While at the beach we went to the Alligator Adventure park. We saw lots of reptiles and even got to touch some.

This was a medium size alligator. They were well feed.

The Beach

The beginning of April we went to the beach with friends. Here we are playing on the beach.

day 3 Holding strong

Day 3. Rachels long day. Rachel normally goes upstairs at church to eat. So Rachel showed me which way mommy goes and what to do. We ate dinner and then came home

this small bit of pink fabric causes alot of problems. it is a daily battle to get it out of site as soon as possible.

I now know why Rachels daycare is so expensive.
everyday so far I have had to empty half of a shoe full of sand. She is slowly bringing the sandlot home.

at dinner Rachel didnt eat much but they had cookies. when it was time for dessert. no cookies were left. chocolate cake wouldnt suffice. so once home she got a treat

Rachel is starting to take a bath by herself. Well of course I am in there but she does all the scrubbing. Yes mommy we are taking baths.

During the bath and after we skyped with aunt Kimmie and Allyssa.

Rachel likes to play in bed once we put her down for the night. We took all of her toys out of her bed and now let her pick two things to go to bed with. pink bear is always one tonight the other was the circus hat. She is in their now singing circus songs.

Day 2..... almost didnt make it in time

so here we are at day 2 as a single dad. Rachel and I are alot alike in our sleep. we hate mornings but can stay up all night. so mornings are.........interesting. she wasnt bad. Go to work and all sorts of fun comes at me. Since it isnt good practice to have a car seat in the work van , I have to go back to shop to switch vehicles before picking up Rachel. it s Only a 20 min drive on a good day, like Sunday at 2:00am in the morning. So I get back to shop and in my car at 5:15. Traffic is bad.Have to get Rachel by 6 or pay. well I made it to find one little girl still in the playground.

When we got home I taught Rachel how to properly seed the yard.

Rachel and Tyke needed a good running. So thats what they got.

time out for a sec. I am working on this blog and hear something in Rachel's room. I go in there to see whats going on. she is standing on the bed and drawing on the wall with her fingers. I say RACHEL. she drops down and acts like she is asleep. little stinker.

Dinner, Bath, Brush teeth, skype with nana and pops and off to bed
