Rachel is starting to get the concept of Peek-a-Boo. Wes is pretty good at getting her to smile and laugh (imagine that).

Shopping
Last week Wes and I took Rachel to the grocery store for the first time. Wes put her car seat in the cart sideways so that as we were going down the isle she could see everything. Needless to say she was a bit overwhelmed with all the colors and shapes. And no I did not take the camera with me this video was shot with Wes' phone. Finally Nextel is good for something.

I'm Good
I think Rachel is going to be a talker like her dad. See if you can hear her say "I'm good."
Belly laughs!
Rachel doesn't have a chance of being normal
Sleeping BeautyGrowing so fast!
I knew when I married Wes, life would always be full of laughs and chatter. If you know Wes you know he's always got a smile on his face and he's always making you laugh. He truly brightens the room when he walks in. He also can chat a little:) Well, I think our daughter will be the same way. Enjoy the pixs and video!Sunday, March 23, 2008

Grammy's Birthday
Mom has no idea what's in the box
She has plenty of help opening her gifts
Yippee!
Saturday, we celebrated Grammy's birthday. I'll be kind and not tell you how old she is. My sister Jackie and her two kids, Caroline and Ryan where here to help celebrate. We missed having my other sister Carol and her two girls, Catherine and Sophia. We had a big birthday meal (Pepper Steak and mac and cheese...very good but interesting combo). My sisters and I all pitched in to give my mom a great birthday gift. We have started her a new collection of dishes. As I was talking to mom, we realized that her current dishes where given to her by our dad. He bought them in Korea after they had been married for about four years. This year my parents would have been married 49 years so we did the math and her dishes are 45 years old. So... the family decided it was finally time for some new dishes. From the pictures, I'd say she loved them! Happy Birthday Grammy (aka. Mom)!
