Videos of Rachel

Cleo the Cat

Grammy has a cat at her house named Cleo. Rachel calls her, "EO." Rachel loves Cleo and she gets so excited when she sees her. Cleo hides a lot so we only see her about once a day but when we do see her Rachel makes sure she gets to play with her.

Big Bubbles

Rachel has adjusted very well at Grammy's. She loves going outside and playing with bubbles. From the time she gets up until the time she goes to bed she's either saying, "Outside" or "Barney." She has about 12 teeth now and is a good eater. She loves strawberries and bananas. Rachel ate her first Chic-Fil-A chicken this past week and loved it. She also ate Daddy's shrimp on Sunday and really liked it too.

Daddy's Chicka Pea

Wes is completely in love with his Chicka Pea. He took these pictures of her last Sunday before we left for church. He's a great dad and would not trade Rachel for the world.

Moving

Well, we did it! We moved! What a hard job. And I'm happy to say that both Wes and I are still alive. I thought we would kill each other a couple of times but we made it. We're at my mom's now and we're hoping to find a new house near her.

Sleeping Beauty

One morning Rachel woke up earlier than usual so I went and got her and brought her to our bed. This was Rachel's first time ever sleeping in our bed. I think she liked it.

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter this year. On Sunday We went to church and then went over to my mom's for an Easter lunch with family. We enjoyed seeing everyone and eating great food. I'm so thankful that we celebrate Easter. What a great reminder of all that Jesus did for us. Because of his resurrection we have hope after death. What a wonderful assurance to know that heaven awaits me.

Rachel is ready for church.

"Hello, Mr. Easter Bunny!"

Rachel and her cousins dye Easter eggs with Grammy.

The finished Easter eggs.

Rachel is holding her first real Easter egg.

BUBBLES

Bubbles are the new thing in our house. Rachel loves them. She points to the bottle all the time and wants me to blow them. I'm running out of oxygen pretty fast.

Rachel Update

HAIR!
Rachel's hair is getting a little longer. I can put it in a pony tail but her hair is so fine that it falls out pretty easily. She also pulls it out pretty soon after it's in....I wonder when that stage will be over? Oh- she's was in the Barney trance when I took this picture.
BABIES!
Rachel loves to play with her baby doll. She rocks it, takes it on stroller rides, feeds it, and pats it on the back-she is now wanting a burp cloth on her shoulder when she holds her baby. Rachel learned that from her teachers at Weekday School because they take care of real babies.

PLAYING!
Rachel loves to climb through tunnels and boxes.

TALKING!
Rachel is saying several words now. She's soaking things up like a sponge.

DANCING!

As you know Rachel loves to dance! She gets all her dancing moves from her dad :)
